The passing of the Misuse of Drugs (Medicinal Cannabis) Amendment Act means some products containing cannabidiol (CBD) are now prescription medicines and there is currently a limited range of CBD products available in New Zealand.

Graham is a medically trained Cannabis Consultant, General Practitioner and Addiction Specialist providing specialist consultations for legal medicinal cannabis prescriptions. An industry leader, in 2018 Graham opened the first medical cannabis service in New Zealand Cannabis Care Clinic located in Henderson, Auckland. Patients self-refer or come with a medical referral. The non-euphoriant CBD was prescribed for 400 patients in 2018 including video consultations. He has also presented nationally and in Australia providing further education for clinicians and the public in media outlets.
Within the consultation framework, Graham addresses conditions such as chronic pain, cancer symptoms, anxiety, chronic insomnia and neurological conditions in order to provide symptom relief and improved quality of life.
