Dr Neil Houston is a General Practitioner and international expert who leads the successful Scottish Primary Care Patient Safety Programme, has provided vital input and support to the Auckland Safety in Practice Programme.
Dr Houston’s APAC conference workshop in September 2013 on patient safety in Primary Care generated a high degree of interest among the delegates and led to the establishment of this collaborative in Auckland. Dr Houston continues to provide ongoing consultant support from Scotland and joins us once a year in Auckland for practice visits.
