The Unit's main resources for primary care include webinars, podcasts, short courses, half and full-day specialist days and our annual Symposium in March each year. Our content is created in-house independently by health professionals for health professionals.

Our Organisation

The Goodfellow Unit, underwritten by the Goodfellow Foundation, operates out of the Department of General Practice and Primary Health Care at the University of Auckland's Faculty of Medical and Health Science. Having access to so many world-leading experts contributes to the quality of the resources created by the Goodfellow Unit team.

Our History

The Goodfellow Foundation's support for the Goodfellow Unit stems from a relationship formed between the Goodfellow family and the University of Auckland in 1978.  The Goodfellow Unit was initially funded by Mr Douglas Goodfellow to support general practice and commemorate his father's life, Sir William Goodfellow.
