Andy is a New Zealand trained orthopaedic surgeon, who has returned to Auckland City Hospital and Eastwood Orthopaedics after several years working at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London. His areas of interest are tumour and Hip and Knee primary and revision surgery, as well as general orthopaedics.
After completing the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association training scheme, Andy completed a fellowship in adult and paediatric musculoskeletal oncology and complex primary and revision hip and knee surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), London.
Following this he stayed on as a Consultant Surgeon (RNOH) working within the London Sarcoma Service, which is Europe’s busiest sarcoma service. During this time, he held an Honorary Consultant contract with Great Ormond Street Hospital.
In addition to working at Eastwood, Andy is a consultant at Auckland City Hospital.
