About this Course

A short but practical approach to using HEEADSSS in your primary care clinic.

Having been around since the late 1980’s HEEADSSS has a role across Aotearoa New Zealand and is used across primary care, community and specialist youth health services.

HEEADSSS is a conversational tool used to determine where rangatahi/young people may need further help. Using the concept of ‘any door is the right door’ for young people to gain help and support, primary care is a great place to use HEEADSSS.
