Kendra is committed to the Te Tari Pureke vision, “the possession and use of firearms in Aotearoa is the safest in the world”.  Kendra’s role is to engage across the regulator (Te Tari Pūreke), regulated parties, stakeholders, and communities to ensure we effectively understand risks and opportunities to improve safety outcomes.

Kirsten is currently the Resolutions Manager, leading the Resolutions team within Te Tari Pureke – Firearms Safety Authority.  Kirsten has been with Police for over 25 years, holding various frontline, CIB and supervisory roles over this time.  Having worked within the Resolutions team for the past 18 months Kirsten seeks to reduce the likelihood and consequences of firearms related harm and ensure personal and public safety, in accordance with the Arms Act, whilst aligning to the Te Tari Pureke vision, “the possession and use of firearms in Aotearoa is the safest in the world”.
