Chronic vestibular syndromes

Chronic vestibular syndromes

Session Date:

Chronic vestibular syndromes (CVS) are seen much less commonly in GP and are also often the most challenging to diagnose.

Typical examples are Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD), vestibular loss, and very controversially "cervical vertigo" which has no agreed diagnostic criteria. Vestibular lab testing can sometimes be helpful to diagnose CVS but has limited availability.

Within the session we will also have a practical session.
