The Cutting Edge: Surgical Skills (Intermediate and Advanced)
WORKSHOP: 1.00pm - 5.00pm.

In this workshop, Mr Rajan Patel – Head and Neck Surgeon, offers a practical, hands-on demonstration of surgical instruments, cryotherapy, local anaesthetic infiltration, punch biopsy, curettage, shave excision, sebaceous cyst excision and suturing – including deep dermal sutures.
He will also focus on and run-through advanced surgical techniques for GPs, including specialist tips and tricks to optimise scar healing, local flaps, skin grafts, and more. As part of practising these techniques, please be aware the workshop will include handling raw pig skin.
Cost:
- Registration fee per session (add-on to Symposium registration) - $345
- Registration fee per session, Friday only participants (not part of Symposium) - $365
This workshop is capped at 50 participants, so register early.
