Our presenters will address the current status of prostate cancer screening internationally and will also look at which patients are most suited for PSA testing.

- New initiatives and technologies that reduce morbidity.
- Using these initiatives and technologies to improve outcomes for prostate cancer patients in NZ.

Andrew Williams
BMedSc, MBChB, FRACS (Urol)
Andrew works as a Consultant urologist at Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland and Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau. He is a member of the Ministry of Health Prostate Cancer Workforce and Medical Advisor for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and Testicular Cancer NZ. He has previously chaired the NZ Board of Urology and is currently an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Andrew Lienert
MBChB, FRACS
Mr Andrew Lienert is a New Zealand trained urologist specialising in laparoscopic uro-oncology and kidney stone surgery. He also provides a full range of general urological expertise.
Having completed his training, Andrew spent a year at St Georges Hospital Sydney, Australia and then a year at the prestigious Imperial College in London, UK. During those 2 years, he performed a high volume of laparoscopic operations and mastered complex laparoscopic skills. He performs radical prostatectomy, laparoscopic nephrectomy and partial nephrectomy, and laparoscopic pyeloplasty. He also learnt some new and novel techniques for managing urological conditions, especially within the field of kidney stone surgery and sling surgery for male and female incontinence. In addition, he has been trained in laser prostatectomy (HoLEP) for treating male lower tract symptoms.

Remy Lim
Remy is a graduate of the Auckland School of Medicine and completed his radiology training in Auckland. Following completion of his registrar training, he undertook a one-year fellowship in Oncologic Body Imaging 2009-2010 and built upon this by completing a second fellowship in Nuclear Medicine/PET-CT at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre in New York City.
Remy joined Mercy Radiology upon his return to New Zealand and was recently appointed as Medical Director for the practice. He was instrumental in the introduction of Gallium-based PET/CT scans for prostrate cancer in 2015.
Remy also spends part of his working week at ADHB where he pursues his subspecialty interest in oncological and genitourinary imaging.
