Michael will provide a practical framework for the clinical assessment and management of persistent pelvic pain (PPP), and discuss tools & resources for GPs to care for their patients effectively and confidently.


PPP will be considered in four parts:

  1. Pain from pelvic organs.
  2. The musculoskeletal response to pain.
  3. Central sensitisation of nerve pathways.
  4. The psychological sequelae of chronic pain.
