Palliative Care Physician
Dr James Jap (he/him) is Medical Director and Palliative Care Physician at Tōtara Hospice, where he has worked full-time since 2012.
James is co-founder of Palliative Care virtual community of practice, Palliverse, and is the author of Bedside Lessons published in 2022.
James has a vested interest in the plight of the minority patient, as he himself is proudly New Zealand-born Chinese.
