Jamie is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist currently working with children, young adults and their whanau at Waitemata District and in private. He is passionate about working from a youth development model and not just a medical diagnostic framework.
His experience extends to living and working as a doctor in various DHBs around New Zealand, which has enabled him a broad appreciation of families from different backgrounds and cultures. Prior to his psychiatry training in Auckland, Jamie has also trained as a paediatrician in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Auckland.
He has particular interests treating and working with children and young people that have neurodevelopmental issues such as ADHD, ASD and FASD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and those that are gender questioning or transitioning.
