Dr Katie Bach graduated from The University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2008. Following this she worked as a dental registrar at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia, and at Auckland District Health Board.
Katie completed her specialist training in Melbourne through the University of Melbourne and the Royal Children’s Hospital. She graduated with a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Paediatrics) in 2014. Katie was awarded an Advanced Trainee Fellowship from the New Zealand Ministry of Health to complete her specialty training.
Katie has previously held a Paediatric Dental Consultant position at Greenlane and Starship Hospitals, providing comprehensive dental treatment to a range of patients including those with complex medical and dental histories.
Katie has a passion for oral health promotion, especially in developing countries and has been involved in many oral health projects including research and training in Cambodia.
