Emergency Medicine Specialist
Dr. Laura Joyce is an emergency medicine specialist and senior lecturer, holding dual positions at Christchurch Hospital and the University of Otago. With a passion for advancing patient care, Dr. Joyce's research interests span critical areas in emergency medicine, including the assessment and management of chest pain, atrial fibrillation, and traumatic brain injury in the emergency department setting. Her work particularly focusses on implementation science, exploring innovative ways to bridge the gap between research findings and clinical practice. Through translating evidence-based research into real-world applications, Dr. Joyce is committed to improving patient outcomes in emergency medicine.
